Youth Changemakers

We create opportunities for young people to learn, lead, and make a lasting difference.

Young people bring fresh ideas and bold thinking that can drive change.

Adolescence is an incredible time of growth, when young people are building the skills, identities, and relationships that shape who they become. Navigating a changing world, they are discovering who they are while contributing ideas and solutions that strengthen their communities.

When supported by learning environments and trusted adults that affirm their experiences and perspectives, young people develop stronger connections, a deeper sense of belonging, and the confidence to contribute and lead.

Fueling Positive Adolescent Development

We support adolescents as they grow, engage with the world around them, and take on meaningful roles as leaders and changemakers.

Grounded in research on this stage of life, we support programs and experiences that help young people build essential skills, explore their values, strengthen their identities, and recognize their power to create change.

Through partnerships and investments in civic education, young people build the knowledge, skills, and confidence to participate in civic life and contribute prosocially to the issues that matter to them. From local action to global efforts, including peacebuilding, these experiences help them make an impact.

We support youth-led initiatives and programs that offer young people the tools and opportunities to put their ideas into practice. Through efforts like Bezos Scholars Program and partnerships with organizations in the U.S. and globally, young people are equipped to lead locally, nationally, and beyond.
