A Future Built on Belonging
At Zuni Pueblo, ZYEP is helping young people stay rooted in their culture and community through arts, athletics, and mentorship.
Building a supportive learning ecosystem so young people can shape their path in life.
Through a diverse portfolio of grants, we invest in the relationships, opportunities, and supports that shape how young people learn.
We aim to provide support where need is greatest, and we strive to partner with organizations that reflect the communities they serve.

Together, our grantmaking investments and in-house programs strengthen the learning ecosystem and create the conditions for young people to succeed. Our work supports four interconnected focus areas:

We support research that advances knowledge on learning and development, partners with communities, and translates insight into action to improve outcomes for children, youth, and families.

We support meaningful training, fair compensation, and supportive workplaces to help educators and early care professionals continue making a difference for young people and families.
We support policies and programs that help families and caregivers nurture their children’s development and advocate for themselves and their communities.

We support opportunities that nurture leadership and positive development, helping adolescents shape who they become and how they contribute to the world.
At the Foundation, we
have a bias for action.
When we see gaps in the
field that aren’t addressed,
we’re motivated to act.
Our innovative in-house programs seek to serve all young people with tools, resources, and experiences that spark joyful discovery and learning for young and adolescent learners and apply the latest insights from learning science. Each program also provides applied learnings that inform our grantmaking approach.
