Architecture for Humanity

Partner 2009-2014


Brings design, construction and development services to communities in need through a global network of building professionals.


Architecture for Humanity is a founding Students Rebuild partner. Our partnership supports Architecture for Humanity’s efforts to rebuild schools and youth facilities in Haiti and Japan as well as their education outreach project, the Green Schools Program.

Fosters values-based leadership, encourages individuals to reflect on the ideals and ideas that define a good society and provides a neutral and balanced venue for discussing and acting on critical issues.

Aspen Writers' Foundation

Partner from 2010 - 2012


Provides programs that encourage writers in their craft and readers in their appreciation of literature, and creates opportunities to bring readers and writers together.


Our partnership supports Story Swap, which fosters dialogue between classrooms and promotes youth leadership development through the process of storytelling.

Defends dignity and fights global poverty through community-based efforts to improve basic education, prevent the spread of disease and increase access to clean water, sanitation and economic opportunity.


CARE is a Students Rebuild partner, supporting livelihood efforts in Somalia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Fosters dialogue and understanding among the world’s youth through live videoconferences and educational programs focused on critical global issues.

Half the Sky Movement

Partner 2012-2014


Raises awareness about women’s education, health, protection and economic issues and provides concrete steps to fight gender-based oppression.


Our partnership supports the Half the Sky Movement Campus Ambassadors program, which provides students with a blueprint for engagement on the six issues presented in the Half the Sky Movement documentary: gender-based violence, sex trafficking, forced prostitution, maternal mortality, education and economic empowerment. Our partnership also supports the Students Rebuild Award featuring Half the Sky Movement.

Social Venture Partners Seattle

Fosters local entrepreneurship and elevates innovative social ventures in the Seattle area.

Engages young people – and the general public – in powerful social, political and cultural issues that are shaping the 21st century through socially minded films and calls to action. 


Our partnership supports a series of five short films in the Let It Ripple series, highlighting the potential for collective impact and global connectivity. Our most recent partnership supported the development and implementation of Character Day.
